He, an Ephemeral Story.

The Before Him

PART TWO

Hell of a day it was, she thought to herself while taking off her damp shoes. She heads to the kitchen on the quest for a meal that would silence the angry birds in her stomach, little did she know that not a single left-over was, in fact, left.
She grabs a piece of bread and hastily opens a triangular cheese portion. Afterwards, she presses the cheese on her overnight bread, and licks the knife before putting it to rot in the sink for a day or two.

While sitting at the table thinking of her day, her teeth enter in a quarrel with the elastic bread till exhaustion. A sip of kiwi juice aids her to swallow the cheewy chunks, then she heads to her room for a nap which will make her body transcend reality and dive into a deep state of sleep.
Her mother once home, uses her screams as an alarm. startled, she manages to jump off the bed, sit on her desk and pretend to study.
Her small pencil case's color reminds her of the dark haired boy at school. She is not only reminded by his eerie presence, but she thinks about it, and rethinks about, to the extent that she doesn't think of anything else but his subtle steps in the middle of chaotic, full of hormones, teenagers.

'Why am I thinking of that insignificant guy?' she wonders to herself. 'I just saw him once and it was very brief', but despite her brief glance of him, he marked her. He marked her in a very subtle yet deep manner. She has never experienced something as weird as this insignificant encounter. Maybe it's my period she thought. 'oh hell nah it isn't my period', then what is it that makes her think about that dark haired boy. Her voyage of thoughts was soon ubruptly cut short with her mother's screams again.
'We can't even think in peace in this household anymore!'
